In Everything There is a pattern, You just need to look.

"Do you believe in making wishes at 11:11, etc?" - Anon

I always thought it was interesting to see this. Kind of like holding your breath through a tunnel to make a wish. Or holding your breath past a cemetery for good luck. Or wishing on a shooting star. I love these kind of superstitious little rituals people do for wishes or good luck or something of the like. I got into holding my breath past cemeteries and through tunnels from my older cousin, when i was younger. I figured, "hey, if it really does work I'm getting something good out of it right? might as well." I didn't find out about making wishes on times like 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, etc until I read a book called "Romiette and Julio" in 7th grade. There was a secondary character in the book who was into spells, and candle magick and superstitious and this was one of the things she did, so I figured, why not incorporate it into my everyday life? What can it hurt?

A friend of mine told me that is was really angels sending us messages from heaven to say that our prayers were being listened to an answered. That Angels spoke through numerical patterns because our brains seem to notice them randomly. I thought this was an interesting take on the matter, and I had never heard such reasons behind it before. 11:11 is the number of coiencidence. It's called the digital time code. Those codes awaken the mind to the change and evolution of consciousness. 11:11 is one of those codes, meaning activation of DNA. Whether or not any of these are true, it's still a fun thing to do.

So yes I do practice and believe in it. I'm not the type of person to set an alarm for each above mentioned time, but when I do notice the time I will make wishes. Just like how in a year from this date, at 11:11am/pm on 11/11/11 i will be wishing my hardest. Yes call me silly if you wish to, that's alright. When my wish comes true, we'll see who's laughing won't we ^_^.
